Subject: Filling up of the posts of Special Educators on contractual basis in the Directorate of Samagra Shiksha – PM Shri Scheme.

Applications through online mode on prescribed format are invited from domiciles of J&K possessing the prescribed academic/professional qualifications and age for the posts of Special Educators purely on contractual basis on consolidated salary in Samagra Shiksha, J&K- PM Shri scheme as
per the following positions: –
Age Limit: The requirement of age for applying against these positions, as on 01-01-2023 shall be as under:
Maximum Age Limit in Years Not Born Before Not Born after
40 01.01.1983 01.01.2005
Domicile:
The candidate should be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and must possess the domicile certificate issued by the competent
authority in the prescribed format as on the last date prescribed for submission of online application form.
Documents to be uploaded:
Following documents shall be uploaded with the application form: –

1. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation).
2. Affidavit duly sworn in and attested by the 1st Class Judicial Magistrate as per enclosed prescribed format.
3. Bachelor’s Degree certificate along with consolidated Marks Cards.
4. B.Ed. Spl.Ed. or its equivalent from an RCI recognized institute.
5. M.Ed. Spl.Ed. or its equivalent from an RCI recognized institute.
6. PG Degree along with consolidated Marks Cards.
7. Ph. D Degree, if applicable.
8. Any other relevant qualification document.
   How to apply:
9. The candidates are required to apply online through the website of Directorate of samagra shiksha (www.samagrashikshajk.nic,in) from
   20.12.2023 noon till 05.01.2024. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.
10. The candidate shall also be required to upload the image of recent passport size colored photograph.
11. No application shall be entertained after the expiry of last date.
12. Applications should be supported by the self-attested certificates/ testimonials.
13. In the event of any information given by candidate found false, incomplete, incorrect, forged, tampered, the candidature of the applicant will be
    cancelled without any notice thereof.

    Last date for submission of online application = 05.01.2024
    Scheme/ Criteria of Selection for the position of Special Educators
    Following will be selection criteria for the positions.
    Special Educator

    I Bachelor Degree from a recognized University 25 On Pro rata basis
    II B.Ed. Sp. Ed. or its equivalent from a RCI recognized Institute 50 On Pro rata basis
    III Post Graduation Degree from a recognized University. 10 On Pro rata basis
    IV Additional Relevant Higher qualification, if any, (Special Education) 15 PG Diploma in Sp.
    Ed.=5
    M.Ed. Sp. Ed=10
    Ph.D. Sp. Ed=15
    Max. Points= 100
    In case two or more candidates score same points, the candidate having higher marks percentage in B.Ed. Sp. Ed shall be given the first preference
    and if the tie persists, it shall be resolved based on UG marks. In case tie persists at UG marks, higher age of the applicant shall be considered, and the decision of the Project Director shall be final.
