Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must possess a recognized MBBS degree included in the First Schedule, Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
Candidates holding qualifications under Part II of the Third Schedule must fulfill conditions under Section 13(3) of the IMC Act, 1956
Internship Requirement:
Completion of compulsory rotating internship is required
Candidates who have not completed internship may apply, but must complete it before appointment if selected
Pay Scale and Allowances
Pay Level: Level-10 of the Pay Matrix
Salary: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month
Additional Benefits: Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) as admissible under rules
Age Limit
Maximum Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 17 February 2026
Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Central Government rules for reserved categories
Selection Process
Selection will be based on the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024 conducted by UPSC
