Introduction
The Income Tax Department, Gujarat invites applications from Indian Citizens for the recruitment of meritorious sportspersons under the Sports Quota for the year 2025. Vacancies are available for the posts of Tax Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS).

Eligibility Conditions
Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification: As per post requirements (details in official notification).
Age (as on 01.01.2026):
- Tax Assistant: 18 to 27 years (born between 02.01.1999 and 01.01.2008)
- Multi-Tasking Staff: 18 to 25 years (born between 02.01.2001 and 01.01.2008)
Age Relaxation
- Up to 5 years for General/OBC candidates (meritorious sportspersons).
- Up to 10 years for SC/ST candidates (meritorious sportspersons).
- Departmental candidates with 3 years of continuous service in Central Government:
- Up to 40 years (General/OBC).
- Up to 45 years (SC/ST).
