Eligibility Criteria

Domicile Requirement

• Candidates must be domiciles of UT of Jammu and Kashmir (in terms of S.O. 166 dated 18.05.2020) or residents of UT of Ladakh for at least 15 years and actually residing in the area.

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2024)

• Open Merit: 40 years
• SC/ST/RBA: 43 years
• Physically Challenged: 42 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 48 years
• Government/Contractual Employees: 40 years

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates must possess the prescribed academic/professional/technical qualifications as mentioned in the detailed notification (Annexure-A) by or before 15 April 2025.

Application Process

1. Submission:

• Apply online through the official portal (link provided on the High Court website).
• Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

1. Document Preparation:

• Keep ready the printout of the application form, fee payment receipt, and required documents for submission upon request.

1. In-Service Candidates:

• Submit a photocopy of the online application form through proper channel (Head of Department).
• If routed improperly, the eligibility will be assessed as a non-in-service candidate.

1. Important Note:

• Ensure applications are routed via the concerned Head of Department to the Registrar Recruitment, High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Jammu within 15 days after the application deadline.

• Only online applications are valid.
• Applications submitted through any other mode will be rejected.
• Screening will be based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications in case of excessive applications.
