Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as faculty on academic arrangement (need based) for teaching Post graduate and Five-Year Integrated Courses ni the Constituent Colleges of the Cluster University of Srinagar for the academic session 2024-25 ni following subjects:

The last date for submission of online applications at the University website
www.cusrinagar.edu.in shal be 10.03.2024. Hardcopy of the application form submitted ni online mode along with self-attested photo-copies of required testimonials shall be submitted ni the office of Registrar from 08.03.2024 ot 15.03.2024 (05.00PM). Thereafter, no application form / testimonial shal be accepted. Merit list for short listing of the candidates for interaction shall be prepared strictly ni light of UGC guidelines of 2018 and thereafter from time to time.
A. Required Qualifications
.1 The candidates must possess post-graduate degree with 5% marks (50% ni case of reserved categories) ni the concerned subject.

The candidates must have qualified NET /SLET or must have PhD Degree ni same subject.

The engagement of faculty on academic arrangement shall be made ni light of the guidelines issued by Higher Education Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir vide Government Order No: 137-JK(HE) of 2024 dated: 01.03.2024.
The engagement shall purely be need based and temporary and shal ni no case confer any right for
regular engagement.
The engagement shall be for a maximum of one academic session only and shall ni no case confer right for continuation ni any subsequent session thereafter.
The shortlisting of hte candidates shall eb made on merit basis followed yb interaction with hte selection committee members.
No candidate shall be allowed to report for rendering service unless he / she executes an agreement on the prescribed format given below as annexure-01.
Leave of any kind shall be considered only ni light of Government Order No: 137-JK(HE) of 2024 dated: 01.03.2024.
At any point of time during academic session, fi apost si filled ni through regular appointment or transfer of a regular faculty member, the engaged candidate ni the subject, having lowest merit, shall get disengaged.

.h The candidates engaged on academic arrangement through selection process shall not have any preferential claim for regularization of their services.
.i In the event of any information being found false, incomplete, incorrect, forged or tampered, the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled without any notice thereof. Further misleading information shall also warrant necessary legal action.
