Overview

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications for the post of Accounts Officer on a deputation basis for a period of three years. These positions are to be filled in various regional offices of SSC.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Gazetted Group B Officers under the Central Government.
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
• With 5 years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment in Level-6 or equivalent.
• Possessing one of the following qualifications:
  • SAS or equivalent examination conducted by recognized Accounts Departments of the Central Government.
  • Successful completion of training in Cash and Accounts and minimum experience in Budget work.
• Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the line of promotion are not eligible.
• Officers who have served on deputation in another ex-cadre post immediately preceding this appointment are not eligible if the deputation period exceeds three years.

Important Notes

• Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years.
• Service rendered on a regular basis prior to 01 January 2006 shall be considered equivalent to the revised pay scale under the Pay Commission recommendations.
