Project Title:
“Development of genomic resources, elite lines, and germplasm conservation of high-density rootstocks in apple” (Funded by DBT, Govt. of India).
Position Details & Qualifications:
- Research Associate-I:
- Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in Biotechnology, Agriculture Biotechnology, Botany, or Plant Sciences from a recognized institution.
- Ph.D. degree in any of the above subjects from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in Plant Biotechnology/Genetic Transformation with evidence of research publications in reputed journals.
- Emoluments: Rs. 47,000/- pm + 16% HRA
- Field Assistant:
- Essential Qualification:
- 10+2
- Desirable Qualification:
- Experience working on research projects in high-altitude locations, preferably in apple orchards.
- Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- pm (fixed)
Duration:
The positions are initially for one year and extendible based on performance. The positions are co-terminus with the project.
