Introduction
The Watson-Crick Centre for Molecular Medicine at Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir, invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the project “Investigate the Therapeutic and Chemo-Sensitizing Efficacy of Unani Pharmacopoeial formulation Dawa-Ul-Kurkum on Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma.” The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, initially for 01 year and renewable up to 03 years based on satisfactory performance.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Essential: First class postgraduate (PG) degree such as M.Sc or Equivalent (with specialization in Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Botany; Pharmacology) from a recognized Board / University / Recognized Institute.
- Desirable: Candidates with previous experience in Cell Culture, Drug Discovery, Animal Models experience, and Molecular Biology will be preferred.
- Age Limit: As on 06-03-2025, should not exceed 35 years (Relaxable up to three years for OBC & 5 years for SC candidates).
Status of the Job
Temporary for an initial 01 year and extendable up to 03 years after due evaluation of the progress made in the first year.
