GPSC, Goa invites online applications for various posts in key departments. The advertisement, published on 11 April 2025, covers several vacancies with different last dates for normal posts and transfer on deputation posts. Please read the instructions on the Commission’s website carefully before applying.

Note:
- A detailed “Instructions” document is available on the Commission’s website (https://gpsc.goa.gov.in) or the Government of Goa portal (https://cbes.goa.gov.in).
- Applicants must pay the prescribed application fee (via online payment or offline through SBI with an e-challan) prior to downloading the completed application form. Late fee payments will lead to rejection.
- Ensure you provide a valid email address and mobile number; all communications will be sent on these channels.
- In case of any discrepancy, the English version of this advertisement shall be deemed authentic.
Available Posts
The following posts are being recruited under different departments:
I. DIRECTORATE OF VIGILANCE
Post: Assistant Technical Examiner, by Transfer on Deputation
- Vacancies: 1 post (Unreserved; 4th time appointment)
- Scale of Pay: Level–7
- Essential Qualifications & Other Requirements:
- Applicants should be officers under Central/State Governments or Union Territories holding posts in the rank of:
- (a)(i) Assistant Engineer or equivalent; or
- (ii) Junior Engineer or equivalent with at least 3 years’ service in the grade; and
- Possess a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent (preferably with experience in a research organization).
- Note: The period of deputation (including any prior deputation in an ex‑cadre post) shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.
II. PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT
A. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE
Post: Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine
- Vacancies: 15 posts
- Reservation: 2 – Scheduled Tribes (ST), 4 – Other Backward Class (OBC), 1 – Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and 8 – Unreserved
- Scale of Pay: ₹15,600–39,100 + ₹6,600 (pre‑revised; as per revised pay matrix Level 11)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years
- Essential Qualifications & Other Requirements:
- A recognized medical qualification as specified in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule, except Licentiate qualifications).
- A Post Graduate degree or equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty from a National Medical Commission (previously MCI) recognized institution.
- At least 3 years of experience in the concerned specialty as a lecturer or equivalent teaching post in a Medical College/Teaching Institution after the requisite Post Graduate qualification.
- Mandatory: Knowledge of Konkani
- Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
B. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES
Post: Medical Officer
- Vacancies: 19 posts
- Reservation: 1 – Scheduled Caste (SC), 1 – Scheduled Tribe (ST), 6 – OBC, 1 – EWS, and 10 – Unreserved
- Scale of Pay: ₹15,600–39,100 + ₹5,400 (pre‑revised; as per revised pay matrix Level 10)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years
- Essential Qualifications & Other Requirements:
- A recognized medical qualification as specified under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule, excluding Licentiate qualifications) – or a degree from Goa Medical School (Medico‑Cirurgião) meeting stipulated conditions.
- Completion of the compulsory rotating internship.
- Mandatory: Knowledge of Konkani
- Desirable: Experience in general medical practice or specific specialty, and knowledge of Marathi
III. DIRECTORATE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION
Post: Assistant Professor in Fine Art (Applied Art) – Goa College of Art
- Vacancies: 1 post (Unreserved; 3rd time appointment)
- Scale of Pay: As per pay matrix Level 10: ₹15,600–39,100 + GP ₹6,000 (pre‑revised)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years
- Essential Qualifications & Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent (either degree may meet the requirement), with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Mandatory: Knowledge of Konkani
- Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
IV. DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION
Post: Principal in Government College
- Vacancies: 2 posts (Unreserved; 2nd time appointment)
- Scale of Pay: ₹37,400–67,000 + AGP: ₹10,000 + Special Allowance: ₹4,500 (as per pay matrix Level 14)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 55 years
- Additional Information:
- The term of appointment is five years, with eligibility for re‑appointment for one additional term, subject to a selection committee process.

- Online submission is mandatory. Visit the Commission’s website at https://gpsc.goa.gov.in or the Government of Goa portal at https://cbes.goa.gov.in to fill in the electronic application form.
- Follow the detailed “Instructions” on the portal before completing your application.
- Payment of Application Fee:
- Online Payment Option: Make the payment online and download the e-receipt showing the successful transaction.
- Offline Payment Option:
- Generate the e-challan, make the cash payment at any SBI branch in Goa on or before the last date (the e-challan is valid for 7 days from generation), ensure the challan is bank stamped, and produce this stamped e-challan when submitting your completed application.
- Important: Only after successful payment can you download the final application form. Late fee payments will result in rejection with no refund.
