Government Medical College (GMC) Doda invites applications for the engagement of Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors on an academic arrangement basis in terms of S.O 364 dated 27-11-2020. The appointment is initially for three years for Professors and Associate Professors and one year for Assistant Professors, extendable up to a maximum of six years based on performance and conduct or until regular selection as per recruitment rules.
1. Eligibility & Conditions
• Category: Non-PSC/Retired Medical Professionals
• Age Limit: Maximum 67 years at the time of application
Posts & Requirements
Professor
• Specializations: Anatomy, Anaesthesia, Community Medicine, ENT, and other subjects as per availability.
• Qualifications:
• Teaching Experience: Minimum 13 years, combining experience as Associate and Assistant Professor from an NMC-recognized institute.
• Research Publications: Minimum 4 publications, at least two as an Associate Professor.
Associate Professor
• Specializations: Pathology, Radiodiagnosis, TB & Respiratory Disease, General Medicine, among others.
• Qualifications:
• Teaching Experience: Minimum 9 years as an Assistant Professor in an NMC-recognized institute.
• Research Publications: At least 2 publications.
Assistant Professor
• Specializations: Physiology, Gynaecology, Psychiatry, etc.
• Qualifications:
• Post-Graduation: MD/MS/DNB or higher preferred.
• Experience: Two years as Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor/Registrar in the subject.
