NIT Srinagar: Project Associate-I Position Under SERB Sponsored Project
The Department of Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-I to work on a research project titled “Critical assessment of the driver behavior of long haul truck drivers for traffic safety analysis – A naturalistic driving approach,” funded by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India.
Project Duration: 2 years
Eligibility Criteria:
• Essential:
B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with at least 75% or 8.0 CPI/CGPA from a recognized university. Preference will be given to GATE-qualified candidates.
• Desirable:
M.E./M.Tech. in Transportation Engineering, experience in numerical analysis, AI-ML techniques, and report writing.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA per month
Initial Appointment: 1 year (extendable up to 2 years based on performance)
