Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
Candidates born between 1st January 2005 and 1st July 2008 (inclusive) are eligible.
Educational Qualifications:
1. For Science Subjects:
• 10+2/Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English (50% marks aggregate and 50% in English).
• 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/IT/etc.) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
• 2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics, 50% aggregate, and 50% in English.
2. For Non-Science Subjects:
• 10+2/Intermediate in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
• 2-year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
Medical Standards:
• Height: 152 cms (Male); 152 cms (Female)
• Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cms (Male & Female)
• Visual Standards: 6/6 in one eye, 6/9 in the other (correctable).
Selection Procedure
Selection is merit-based and includes a transparent process of:
1. Online Registration.
2. Written Test.
3. Physical Fitness Test.
4. Medical Examination.
Salary and Benefits
• Monthly Pay (Year 1): ₹30,000 (In-hand ₹21,000; ₹9,000 contributed to Corpus Fund).
• Seva Nidhi Package: ₹10.04 lakhs (inclusive of interest) after 4 years of service.
• Other Perks: Medical facilities, CSD provisions, ration, accommodation, and travel allowances as per IAF policies.
