Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (VRDE), Ahmednagar, is a premier laboratory under DRDO engaged in Research & Development in the area of light tracked and wheeled vehicles. VRDE invites young and meritorious Indian nationals for walk-in interviews who desire to pursue defense-related research as Junior Research Fellows (JRF) in the following disciplines.

Tenure
Initially, the offer shall be for a period of two years which may be extended for a further two-year period (one year at a time) subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed by the Review Committee.
Stipend
Monthly emoluments of Rs.37,000/- pm plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as admissible.
Educational Qualification
- BE/B.Tech in the above disciplines in first division from a recognized university with a valid GATE score as on the date of the interview.
- Or ME/M.Tech from a recognized university in the above disciplines in first division both at Graduate & Post-graduate level.
