Government Medical College, Udhampur is inviting applications for engagement as Senior Residents, Demonstrators, Registrars, Tutors, and Field Demonstrators on a contractual basis for one year, extendable up to three years based on satisfactory performance.
Essential Qualifications
1. Anatomy, Pharmacology, Anesthesia, General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Radiodiagnosis, Forensic Medicine
• MBBS Degree from a Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC) recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualifications (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) or higher such as MCh/DM as per Govt. Orders No. 282 JK (HME) of 2023 and No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024.

• Last Date: 28-11-2024 (by 4:00 PM)
• Application Fee: INR 500/- (non-refundable) via J&K Bank draft in favor of the Principal, GMC Udhampur.
• Submission: Applications, with self-attested documents, must be submitted by registered post or in person to the Principal’s Office.
Eligibility & Selection
• Age Limit: Maximum of 50 years.
• Selection criteria will follow Government Orders No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024 & No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023.

Conditions & Terms
• Tenure appointments with no preferential rights for regular positions.
• Previous holders of Senior Resident/Demonstrator posts need not apply.
• Withdrawal or alteration of vacancies possible without notice.
