Job Responsibilities
The Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for:
• Financial planning, budgetary control, and resource generation.
• Preparing and presenting annual/revised budgets, estimates, and accounts to the Finance Committee and Board of Governors.
• Ensuring compliance with tax laws, including GST, Income Tax, and other statutory obligations.
• Processing payroll, salary disbursements, and contractor/vendor payments per GFR and institute rules.
• Preparing annual financial statements aligned with accounting standards and presenting them to the appropriate committees.
• Monitoring audits (statutory, internal, and CAG) and addressing related queries.
• Enhancing internal financial controls and maintaining the Institute’s accounts.
• Managing working capital, fund flows, and investment planning.
• Preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports and presentations for decision-making.
• Supporting institutional financial governance and handling other tasks assigned by the competent authority.
