The objective-type written test will be of 120 marks for a duration of 120 minutes. It will evaluate candidates on numerical aptitude, reasoning skills, general awareness and subject knowledge.
The broad subjects include General Intelligence & Reasoning, General English & Comprehension, General Awareness, General Science & Computer Applications, Sports General Knowledge and Subject related to Social Welfare.
- General English: Reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary
- Reasoning: Analytical reasoning, coding-decoding, syllogism, sequences
- Awareness: Current affairs, history, geography, polity of J&K
- Science: Environment, pollution, computers, cyber security
- Social Welfare: Child rights, women empowerment, health programmes
The subject syllabus covers areas like social institutions, anxiety disorders, food hygiene, maternal & child healthcare, Poshan Abhiyan, old age benefits among others.
