The Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, an aided institute under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, invites applications from highly motivated engineering graduates for the position of Trainee Scientific Officer (TSO).

Training & Employment Details
• Training Program:
The candidates will undergo a One-Year Orientation Course at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Training School under the OCES-2025 Program, which includes:
• Coursework at BARC Training School.
• Project work at IPR.
• Stipend & Benefits During Training:
• Monthly stipend as per BARC OCES rules.
• One-time book allowance.
• Post-Training Appointment:
• Successful trainees will be appointed as Scientific Officer-C at IPR with:
• Basic Pay: ₹56,100/- per month (Level 10, 7th CPC Pay Matrix).
• Additional allowances as per IPR rules.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
• Engineering graduates in Computer Science or Instrumentation.
2. Age Limit & Other Criteria:
• As per the guidelines for the OCES-2025 Program.
3. Selection Process:
• Selection will be based on the OCES-2025 Interview Merit List.
• Candidates must apply for the OCES-2025 Program through the BARC website.
