Centres/Units of ISRO as well as an Autonomous Body (PRL) under the Department of Space are inviting online applications from meritorious graduates for the Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts in the disciplines of Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science. Applicants must have completed BE/B.Tech or an equivalent degree with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10. Candidates completing their course in the academic year 2024–25 are also eligible provided the final degree is available by 31-08-2025.

Eligibility & Additional Details
- Graduation must be completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University. Allied disciplines in BE/B.Tech are acceptable per ISRO’s eligibility norms.
- If a University’s degree certificate displays both CGPA and percentage, at least one criterion (either CGPA ≥6.84/10 or 65% marks) must be met. For universities that mention only CGPA, the CGPA must meet or exceed 6.84/10. Conversion from CGPA to percentage is not permitted.
- For Dual/Integrated Degree programmes: the graduation level marks (or overall cumulative marks, as specified) will be considered according to the guidelines provided in the Dual/Integrated Degree Certificate.
Age Limit & Relaxation
Candidates must be 28 years of age as on 16-06-2025. Age relaxation is available for serving Central Government employees, Ex-servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per Government of India orders.
Application Fee
- A non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 250 is required for all posts.
- Additionally, candidates must pay a processing fee of Rs. 750 per application. This processing fee will be fully refunded to candidates who are exempt (Women, SC/ST, PwD, Ex-servicemen) or reduced to Rs. 500 for other candidates after deducting the Application Fee.
Salary & Allowances
Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix with a minimum basic pay of ₹56,100 per month. In addition, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance will be paid as per extant rules. Employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme/Unified Pension Scheme, along with additional benefits such as subsidised canteen facilities, medical facilities for self and dependents, and subsidised housing (in lieu of HRA), among others.
