65th SSC (Tech) Men & 36th SSC (Tech) Women Courses
Including SSCW (Tech) and Non-Tech for Widows of Defence Personnel
The Indian Army invites applications from unmarried Male and Female Engineering Graduates and Widows of Defence Personnel for Short Service Commission (SSC). The courses will commence in October 2025 at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA).
Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality:
Candidates must be:
• Citizens of India, or
• Subjects of Nepal, or
• Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and certain African countries intending to settle in India permanently.
(Note: Gorkha subjects of Nepal do not require a certificate of eligibility.)
2. Age Limit:
• SSC (Tech) Men/Women: 20 to 27 years as of 01 October 2025. (Born between 02 October 1998 and 01 October 2005, inclusive).
• Widows of Defence Personnel:
• SSCW (Tech) and SSCW (Non-Tech): Maximum of 35 years as of 01 October 2025.

2. Name Variation: Submit an affidavit if there is a discrepancy in personal details on educational documents.
3. Document Requirements:
• Degree/Provisional Degree certificate.
• Mark sheets for all semesters/years.
4. Date of Birth Proof:
• Only Matriculation or Secondary School Examination certificates will be accepted as proof of age.
