Introduction
CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru, is a premier Research Laboratory under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. CSIR-NAL has a strong programme in Civil Aviation including the nationally important project of design and development of a multirole Light Transport Aircraft (SARAS).
