The Council for Insurance Ombudsmen invites applications for Insurance Ombudsman positions at 8 locations: Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Noida, Patna, and Pune.


Eligibility Criteria

  1. Age Limit: 55–65 years as of 07-03-2025.
  2. Professional Experience (Any ONE):
  • Government Service: Former Joint Secretary (or equivalent) in Central Govt./All India Services.
  • Insurance Sector: 25+ years in the insurance industry, with experience at one level below Board Director.

Key Details

  • Term: 3 years or until age 68 (whichever is earlier).
  • Remuneration: As per Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017.
  • Application Mode: Online only.
