Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Indian citizens (Male & Female).
  • Age Limit: 18 to 23 years (as per BSF rules, relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC categories).
  • Educational Qualification: Matriculation/10th Pass from a recognized board.
  • Sports Achievement: Candidates must have represented at National/International level or achieved medals/certificates in recognized sports competitions.

Application Fee

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹100/-
  • SC / ST / Female / BSF Serving Personnel: Exempted
  • Mode of Payment: Online

Selection Process

  • Scrutiny of applications and verification of sports achievements.
  • Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
  • Medical Examination.
  • Final merit list based on sports performance and BSF recruitment norms.

General Instructions

  • Applications will be accepted only through ONLINE MODE.
  • Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad.
  • On appointment, candidates will be governed by the BSF Act, 1968 and BSF Rules, 1969.
