JOB TITLE- JUNIOR PRODUCT OWNER

The Junior Product Owner is Execution-oriented, Interface to development team, and team collaborator that is accountable for maximizing the value of the product results from the work of the development team. You own the details of the business value delivered at the team level. You translate business requirements into product requirements to ensure that the product delivers on user needs.

Responsibilities.

Drive business value for the team by prioritizing and ordering product backlog items based on the product roadmap.

Effective management of the pillars product backlog and ensuring it’s transparent, visible, and clearly communicated.

Translate business desires/requirements into stories that are ready for development and execute Sprints.

Outlines clear acceptance criteria, to clearly communicate the definition of”done”

Manage and communicate dependencies and risks while tracking the Sprint progress.

Collaborate closely with development, QA teams to drive successful completion of development sprints.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships to influence and drive change.

Work with US based Product team and Design team in developing, validating and finalizing user requirements and designs.

Develop understanding of customers/user’s problems, how they think and operate and the platforms/ technology they use and communicate to the development team to help facilitate execution.

Understand and communicate pillar objectives, strategies, and solution needs to the team to facilitate results.
Qualifications, Skills, And Experience

Previous experience in Product Development/Engineering role.

Deep understanding of and experience with Agile development methodologies

Effective in managing cross-functional software development teams in an agile environment.
Effective in managing business priorities against design/user needs while delivering against product roadmaps.

Stakeholder management – effective in building and managing stakeholder relationships to influence and drive change.

Planning, organizational and time management skills.

Comfort with ambiguity – remains confident and resourceful in the face of ambiguity and maintains transparency.

Exhibits qualities of a great team player.

Verbal and written communication skills, ability to translate between business and technical.

Technical acumen – grasps the technical details to support the development.

Critical thinking – evaluates highly prioritized problems and analyzes the impact of proposed solution.

1-3 years’ relevant experience.

Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science
